I'm currently working as a Post-Doc researcher in Department of Bioengineering at UC San Diego. I received my B.A. and M.A./Ph.D in Department of Chemical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology. My research interests are metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, and systems biology.

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Systems Biology Research Group, Department of Bioengineering at University of California San Diego (UCSD). I earned my Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering at Korea Advanced Istitute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and my B.S. in Molecular Biology from Pusan National University.

Akanksha Rajput

I am a highly skilled computational biologist with over 10 years of expertise in a range of areas, including multi-omics data analysis, systems biology, prediction algorithms, cheminformatics, phylogenomics, and the development of databases and webservers. My research has focused on important topics such as antimicrobial resistance, biofilms, bacterial cell-cell communication, and virology. In addition to my computational skills, I also possess hands-on experience in experimental techniques, such as developing biofilms and investigating the effects of inhibitors.

I joined SBRG in 2021 as a postdoc. Prior to SBRG, I did my PhD work on the construction of the minimal genome of E. coli at KAIST, South Korea. My goal is to recreate many interesting biological processes from various organisms in E. coli using synthetic biology, based on systematic understanding.

Monica Mo

I am currently a post-doctoral researcher working on modeling host-pathogen interactions between murine macrophage cell lines and Salmonella. As a graduate student with the Systems Biology Research Group, my PhD thesis focused on the systems-level integration and analysis of high-throughput 'omic' datasets to characterize physiological and perturbed states in yeast and human systems.
