(Margaret) Kenyon Applebee is a fifth-year graduate student in the Palsson lab, from the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at UCSD. Her graduate work is focused on understanding the selection and function of mutations E. coli acquires while adaptively evolving to grow on challenging substrates. She has a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
